Keepers Pro-Schmo 2015 Results
With a strong field of 40 Keepers and 10 Pro Avatars the Keepers Pro-Schmo kicked off Season 8 with style. Playing a virtual best ball with their Pro Avatar’s score from Master’s Sunday it took net birdies and eagles by the Keepers to end up at the top of the scoreboard.
The kompetition was keen this year and it took net 58’s from Craig “A New Broom Sweeps Clean” Goodman and Rory McIlroy and Phil “The Hammer” Malet and Rickie Fowler to claim the top prize. Craig helped Rory’s 65 with 6 net birdies and a net eagle to reach their 58. Phil added 4 net birdies, a net eagle, and a couple of crucial pars when Rickie had bogies to get them to the magic 58. Wearing his Saturday black, Rich “Kojak” Greenberg teamed with Ian Poulter for a net 59 to take third place. Tied for fourth place was Tom “Burn Notice” Burne who shot 36 on his own ball before relying on Jordan Spieth to carry them home along with Paul “PC” Cohen who made net eagles on #3 and #16 teaming with Hideki Matsuyama for net 60’s. In the separate Players Pool Kash Kompetition which was a Stapleford Net Pars Or Better on The Keepers ball the Keepers raised the first $360 for this year’s contribution to the Folds of Honor Foundation and SMGA/Wounded Warriors organization. Burne Notice dominated the field with 15 of his 24 points on the front nine besting Rick “I Know What To Do With My Shots” Cohen who had two net eagles and three net birdies on his way to second with 20 points. Tied third were Rusty “Where Have You Gone Joe Dimaggio” Minkoff and Kojak with 19 points each. The payouts and full results of the Player’s Pool are linked below.
