Keepers-Young Guns 4-Club 2015-Results
In an evening kompetition the Keepers-Young Guns Team 4-Club was held last night with great fanfare. 14 Young Guns, 18 Keepers, 3 Pros, and Casper the Ghost made up the four teams-The Four Tops, The Jackson 5, The Commodores, and The Temptations-that harmonized their way around the front of the South with just 4 Clubs in hand in a 7-5-3-1 scoring format.
Josh Tremblay, a visiting dignitary, led the Four Tops who were humming “Can’t Help Myself” all the way around as they dominated the team kompetition with 341 points to deliver $50 in kash sweeps to each of their guys. Andy Heiberger’s Jackson 5 were “Blamin’ it on the Boogie” as they took second with 328 points. Dan O’Neill’s Commodores were just behind at 326 points and Konner Farrell is having a word with The Temptations as they barely cleared 300 points.
In the Folds of Honor/SMGA-Wounded Warriors Kash Game Mark A. “Where Have You Come From” Goldstein grabbed 53 individual points to take first place ($60) and continue his stealth move up the Keeper Kup Standings. Peter Kobylarek was second with 51 points ($50) with Marc Birnbaum and Dan ONeill getting third with 42 points ($20 each). We added $140 to our Folds of Honor/SMGA Wounded Warrior Donation fund through the generosity of those playing last night.
As with all our Keepers-Young Guns co-sanctioned events the beat was festive and the after game dinner had lots of trash talking and exaggerating going on.
