Keepers Tuesday Flap Jacks 2016
Our next Keepers event is a Tuesday night Pick-Up Game on May 3rd where we will bring back, by popular demand, the Keepers Flap Jacks Kompetition. This is an entertaining nine hole three-man team format where each Keeper gets 90% of his handicap and two balls count toward the team total on each hole.
Not your simple best ball though-on the Odd holes the two net best balls of your team threesome count and on the Even holes your two net not-so-best balls count. Total score across the nine holes determines the Flap Jacks champion.
Last year this was a fierce fight for skillet supremacy and in the end the Shoneys (Burak-Aronoff-Schwartz) and the Iron Skillets (Kojak-Brett-Wollner) whipped up the best batters with net 67’s to win the trove of Kup Points and Kash Sweeps.
Teams are picked by the Keepers Black Box which guarantees selection based on fairness, equity, and possible purchased coercion at the right price. Tee times will be assigned between 4:30 and 6:00 PM and the kompetition will be on the North Course.
For those who care to stick around after the game we will konvene for a bit of dinner and smack talkin’ upstairs in the clubhouse.
