Keepers Kolor Skirmish 2018-Justice League of Superheroes
This year’s weekend Keepers Kolor War was cancelled due to seasonably inclement weather conditions. We have brought back a slimmed down version of our annual Team Kompetition called Keepers Kolor Skirmish to be played on Tuesday June 26th starting at 3:30 pm. This will be a shotgun start beginning at 4:00 pm which will allow all kompetitors to finish at one time so we can chow down and kalculate the results of the team and individual kompetitions.
Depending on sign up it will be three or four teams representing our boyhood super heros. The teams will be kompiled by the Tournament Kommittee based on the handicap indexes of all the entrants in proper handicap rotation to insure team balance. Kaptains will be selected from each team based on leadership karacteristics and a small bit of kommittee bias.
The kompetition of the day will be threesomes or foursomes of one representative from each team of similar handicap playing the Almost Skins format. If foursomes, each hole the guy with the lowest score gets 7 points, second gets 5 points, third gets 3 points, and fourth gets 1 point (5-3-1 if we play threesomes). Total points for each player is his contribution to the Team Total and it is his individual total as well.
The winners booty…..members of the winning team get $50 Kash Sweeps per person with $25 Kash Sweeps per person for the runner-up team. Individual points will be tallied to determine the team MVPs (top individual point totals) who get 200 Keepers Kup Points and a Team Bobblehead Trophy and Bronze MVP Medal for their efforts.
Last year, in Keepers Kolor War-Battle of the Mount Rushmore Presidents, it was the Team Teddy-Mike Fisher, Norman Freidkin, Paul Cohen, Kaptain Howard Wollner, Artie Aronoff, Ronnie Greenbaum, Ronnie Rosenberg, Bill Artz, Bob Cook, and Jimmy Polsky-that won in a sweep with 504 electoral votes….there were no hanging chads!!!
