Keepers Kontributions 2019

Posted on Updated on

A big part of our annual Keepers season is the kommunity service involvement of our organization supporting and promoting worthy causes at home and in our kommunity.  This year The Keepers have supported over a dozen causes through fund raising, outings, and direct donations to the tune of $21,500.

We received The First Tee Spirit Award for our decade long involvement through our Annual First Tee Mentor Outings

Over 35 kids and 15 volunteers participated with staff in this year’s First Tee Mentor Outing

We had close to 70 employees and members for the Staff Appreciation Kook-Out

Our charitable kommitment begins at home with our annual support of Woodmont activities through the Woodmont Employee Assistance Fund and the Keepers Greens and Grounds/Golf Staff Appreciation Kook-Out.  We also support many of the fund raising efforts of other Woodmont entities with donations and event support for Play For Pink, Alzheimers, and the Women’s Amateur.  Outside of the club The Keepers have raised money for donations to the The First Tee of Greater Washington, Hebrew Home ElderSafe Program, SMGA/Wounded Veterans, Folds of Honor Foundation, Links To Freedom Foundation, and the Friends of Israel Disabled Veterans.

Thanks so much to all of our members for their efforts in supporting the kommunity service initiatives of The Keepers.  We are exceedingly proud of our focus and kommitment to this part of the Keepers Mission each year.
